Aspiring Pianist

I love this shot that a friend took the other night. This is Addison sitting at our grand piano exploring the keys. She also has her own "kiddie keys" piano that she can bang on. One of my piano students thought it was for the kitty not the kiddie!

8 months old today!

Addison is 8 months old today!  Everyone says it goes fast and it is true.  This picture was taken yesterday in her high chair.  She usually squints when the camera flash goes off.  She eats 2 meals a day in her high chair and has about 3-4 bottles.  She is still taking 2 naps a day (usually) and sleeps a lot at night.  We are having fun and she is crawling everywhere fast and standing and cruising on furniture.  

Standing

Addison is crawling fast all over the house so we are babyproofing to keep her safe. She also really likes to pull up to standing on anything she can find. Her favorite seems to be pulling up on mommy and climbing over me when I am sitting on the floor. She also pulled up to the piano bench the other day when I was playing for her and started teething on the piano bench. We are all making our predictions about when she will be standing alone and walking! My sister walked at 8 months so I know it is possible for it to happen soon. She seems to be progressing so fast!!!

Trip to Colorado

For my vacation this year we went with my parents to Kansas, picked up my sister and her son and went to Colorado to visit my dad's side of the family. My grandma and 2 aunts and cousins are out there and another cousin came to visit with her 3 kids. We had a great time. You can see Addison and I sitting in a $1.2 million Enzo Ferrari at my uncle's dealership-Ferrari of Denver.
